Celler Vall Llach

Priorat , Spain

General

Vall Llach was founded in the 1990s by Enric Costa and Luís Llach. The guiding principle of their work is to focus on quality rather than quantity. In everything they do they demand thoroughness, quality and respect for the countryside. They have limited the growth of their production so that they can invest more in the quality of the wines by controlling every step of the winemaking process as precisely as possible. Vall Llach's vineyards are 90–110 years old and lie on steep slopes where the use of machinery is impossible.

Location

The estate is located in the village of Porrera, where they make their wines in the village's oldest and largest privately owned building, called La Final , and in a historic manor house called Cal Baldrich. The village of Porrera has a long history of winemaking, and Vall Llach has become a significant part of the village and its community.

The wines

Exclusivity and quality are to the fore in Vall Llach's wines. Their range includes superb reds and whites suited to enthusiasts, collectors and the celebration of special moments alike.
